Here at Florida Hunting Adventures we offer year round hunting for our Watusi bulls. They are of the African species, and they derive their name from the Tutsi tribe in Africa. Watusis do not shed their horns but continually grow. They have a network of honeycomb blood vessels which are used to keep them cool . Watusis roam free range in our preserve and employ spot and stalk methods in harvesting them. The cost of the hunt includes cleaning and quartering and icing their lean meat which is considered very good table fare. Most hunters mount the horns or do a shoulder mount; however, their hides come in a variety of colors and patterns and do make a nice showpiece in any game room.
