Hunting water buffalo pretty much guarantees an adrenaline and heart pounding hunt as we usually employ spot and stalk hunting methods. This is where you want to break out your big gun. The table fare is good and makes for outstanding ground meat. The cost of the hunt includes cleaning, quartering and icing this beast. Water buffalo are part of the bovine family with the bulls tipping the scales at approximately 2000 pounds. Swampy and wet grassland areas of the ranch are their favorite habitat. Water buffalo can be hunted year round and their horns do not shed but continue to grow throughout their lifetime.
