City Slickers, Get Away
This adventure includes a tour of the ranch on a swamp buggy, basic ranch operations, and a full day of participating with an authentic cowboy working and handling cows. The day will start with a light breakfast well before sunrise, cowboy lunch, dinner, bonfire with smores and one overnight accommodations at the lodge – and continental breakfast day of departure.
Lasso lessons are included
This adventure needs to be reserved well in advance as working dates are predetermined.
Tour Cost
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oak Island Ranch for an all-inclusive eco tour of their facility which highlighted “working cows”, and boy, I had no idea how cool that would be. Born and raised in eastern New York I had never really been exposed to ranching, farming, horses or the ranch experience.
