Welcome to Oak Island Ranch, headquarters for FLORIDA HUNTING FISHING OUTDOOR ADVENTURES (FHFOA). We are a small family owned working cattle ranch located approximately 15 miles north of beautiful Lake Okeechobee - the second largest fresh water lake in the contiguous United States – and 1.5 hours drive south from Orlando International airport.
Our family has been blessed to have this slice of paradise for nearly a quarter of a century. It is only recently that we have begun to share publicly the natural fascination and joys of Florida’s great outdoors. Hunting and fishing is our family’s way of life and is rooted in our DNA dating back several generations.
We appreciate the reality of waiting several months out of a year to experience a hunting or fishing trip. Our goal is not to disappoint you at FHFOA and we will work hard ensuring your safety and that you thoroughly enjoy your adventure with us looking forward to returning. No departure would be complete in leaving your adventure with us without potentially harvested meat, a trophy mount, and terrific memories! My two favorite times of year are March and October because that is when I get to visit Oak Island Ranch. Conveniently located in South Florida where it is easy to get to but once you’re there, you feel a million miles away! Great accommodations with even nicer hosts and picturesque surroundings with abundant wildlife. Hours in the large stands go by like minutes as there is never any shortage of action with a seemingly endless supply of deer, turkey and hogs grazing the large food plots. I’m counting the days until my next visit.
